LOWER VERTICAL SLIDING SASH

This system is used when regular ventilation is required. It can be mounted within the 'staff beads' of a vertical sliding sash window, allowing the lower panel to be opened and enabling the retention of working internal shutters. This is an important priority when satisfying the needs of Conservation Officers. An ultra-thin lightweight framework means its visibility is kept to an absolute minimum. And there are many other advantages, including:
Custom Made
Vertical slides need to be parallel, but out of true sills and heads can be catered for.
Extensive colour range
The slim frames can be powder coated with a tough durable finish that further enhances the 'hidden' qualities of the window.
Thermal efficiency
Thermal efficiency is dramatically improved by the ingenious hidden magnetic system around the edges.
Noise Barrier
Disturbance from heavy traffic or flight paths fades into the distance with a performance significantly higher than that of double-glazing.
Easy Cleaning
The windows simply lift out for easy cleaning and storage - it could not be simpler. Suitable for Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian vertical sash windows.

TESTIMONIALS
Mr Peter Davidson, Edinburgh
“We have been very impressed by all aspects of dealing with Storm Windows. From first approach right through to installation, your people have clearly distinguished themselves. Mr Walford has been excellent throughout and your fitting team were not only punctual, courteous, tidy and efficient – they were also genuinely thoughtful and pleasant to have in the house. As for the product itself – well, so far, it seems to do exactly and precisely ‘what it says on the lid"
Mr. Stygalls, The Huntsman
“After nearly four years since the installation, the secondary glazing still not only meets my requirement for noise reduction and aesthetics but also for maintenance. The units are easy to remove when I need to clean the windows due to their unique magnetic fixing system, which also reduces the amount of dust ingress we get from the road."
Mr D.E. Cartridge, Oxfordshire
“A good quality product. No pressure selling. Fitter was excellent and courteous, skilled – a pleasure to have in the house. A far cry from the stereotypical double glazing firm – a pleasure to do business with”
