Lower vertical sliding sash  

When needed?

If regular ventilation is required. 

Features

  • Slim and lightweight, looks great – virtually invisible – inside and out.
  • It can be mounted within the 'staff beads' of a sash window, allowing the lower pane  to be opened, whilst the upper pane remains fixed, enabling the retention of working internal shutters. 
  • It’s held in place using our magnetic system. 

Benefits

  • Matched up with existing glazing bars to ensure period features are retained - preserving character of an historic property.
  • Improves thermal efficiency.
  • Can be powder-coated to any RAL or BS number to complement existing decor
  • Produced to accommodate the idiosyncrasies of primary windows
  • Engineered to facilitate arch/bow tops and even curved-in-plan.
  • Easily removable for cleaning and maintenance

Slimline units 

When needed?
For windows that do not require regular ventilation, or are only used during summer months. Also used for French doors and fanlights. 

Features

  • Slim and lightweightcan be mounted within the 'staff beads' of a sash window.
  • This means working internal shutters can be retained - often a conservation officer’s stipulation.
  • Installed into the reveals or inset into the primary window.  

Benefits

  • Can be powder-coated to any RAL or BS number to complement your existing decor.
  • Almost invisible both internally and externally. 
  • Accommodates idiosyncrasies of your primary windows
  • Engineered to facilitate arch/bow tops, curved-in-plan, circular and many other quirky shapes. 
  • Held in place using our magnetic system
  • Easily removable for cleaning and maintenance

When needed?
Ideal for casement windows that require regular ventilation.

Installed into the reveals, this unobtrusive system has minimal impact on the primary windows.

Upper vertical sliding sash

If regular ventilation is required. 

Features

It can be mounted within the 'staff beads' of a sash window, allowing the upper pane to be opened whilst the lower pane remains fixed and enabling the retention of working internal shutters.

  • Can be powder-coated to any RAL or BS number to complement your existing decor. The end result is a virtually invisible glazing which can hardly be seen, inside the building, or from outside. This style of secondary glazing can be made to mirror the idiosyncrasies of your primary windows, with engineered for arch/bow tops and even curved-in-plan. Our Upper Vertical Sliding Sash unit is held in place using our magnetic system and is easily removable for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
